Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Director of Payor Account Management to lead strategic relationships with national and regional payors and to drive access for the Elios System in the U.S.

Reporting to the Head of Global Market Access, Surgical Glaucoma, the role leads a team of Regional Account Executives, partners with sales and medical affairs, and shapes HEOR strategies to secure favorable coverage and reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, life science, or closely related field.
• 5–7 years of payor relations experience at Medicare and private insurance.
• Proven track record securing payor coverage for medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of national and regional payor coverage strategies.
• Engage with HTAs to provide reviews of ELT and Elios System data.
• Develop relationships with state ophthalmology advisory members and payor Medical Directors.
• Monitor Medicare and commercial payor policies to guide strategy and priorities.
• Collaborate with Field Sales to ensure coverage and payment requirements are understood.
