Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a National Accounts Director, Payor Accounts, to lead national and regional payor coverage and reimbursement strategies for the Elios System across U.S. payors and hospital networks.

The role will coordinate with sales, marketing and medical teams to optimize patient access and revenue. The position requires experience in medical device reimbursement, strong leadership, and ability to analyze policy and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in public health or life sciences; ophthalmology experience preferred.
• 5–7 years payor relations experience at Medicare and private insurance; reimbursement knowledge.
• Proven ability to secure payor coverage for medical devices and new technologies.
• Strong ability to communicate clinical and economic data, coding and payment issues.
• Understanding of payor landscape in ophthalmology (MIGS, cataract).
• Leadership and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of national/regional payor coverage strategies.
• Engage HTAs for reviews of ELT and Elios System data and educate stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with payors, medical directors and policy influencers.
• Support field sales with coverage and payment requirements.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs to influence payor policies.
• Monitor Medicare/Commercial payor policies and data trends.
• Provide VOC feedback to guide market access strategy.
• Train Sales Reps on market access programs.
