Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Regional Account Manager – Market Access (RAM) in the United States to drive payor strategy and reimbursement for Surgical Glaucoma products. The RAM will report to the National Payor Account Director and lead access initiatives across assigned states.

The role involves building relationships with payor medical directors, educating providers, and guiding internal teams on billing, coding, and appeals. Extensive travel (30–50%) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; life sciences or business preferred.
• 5+ years in payor/reimbursement roles within medical devices.
• Minimum 2 years in ophthalmic practice management and revenue cycle.
• Ability to interpret MAC LCDs and CMS regulations as they pertain to Medicare Advantage.
• Proven payor strategy, reimbursement, and account management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional payor strategies for coverage and reimbursement.
• Partner with Sales to educate and support customers by removing access barriers and resolving challenges.
• Conduct reimbursement seminars on local payor criteria and reimbursement requirements for MIGS products.
• Build and sustain relationships with payor medical directors, state agencies, and advocacy organizations.
• Serve as the regional payor and reimbursement SME for MIGS devices and guiding internal teams on billing and appeals processes.
• Engage with Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid payors and hospital systems.
