Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced director to oversee all administrative and fiscal components of patient access across inpatient, outpatient, emergency and ancillary services. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with hospital departments and leadership to optimize revenue cycle and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as determined by the company.
• 5 years' experience in healthcare access management.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages human resources and expenses, achieving both department productivity standards and budget objectives. Supervises staff, evaluates work, and recommends and implements approved disciplinary action.
• Works with all hospital departments and corporate leadership for the purpose of facilitating problem resolution, development of policies, processes and programs, coordination of services and organization cohesiveness. Actively involved in carrying out financial clearance policies and patient eligibility assistance insurance verification including financial review, interaction with financial counselors, facility leadership and physician staff.
• Works with system leadership to achieve established WPAHS revenue cycle operational goals.
• Develops, administers, and is accountable for department budgets.
• Assures compliance with federal, state, local, Joint Commission, and hospital policies and regulations relative to patient registration and education.
