Qualifications

• Bachelor or Science degree required.
• Business or related field preferred or currently enrolled in Bachelors program.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in a hospital patient access department.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operations for Admissions, Outpatient Access Services, Emergency Department Access Services and Business Operations.
• Directs patient access registration processes across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and procedural settings.
• Manages scheduling, templates, capacity, referrals/authorizations, insurance verification and financial counseling.
• Leads contact center operations and ensures EMTALA-compliant bedside registration.
• Develops departmental budgets and oversees Epic system development and interface projects.
