Job summary

Directive Consulting is seeking an Associate Director of Paid Social to lead a pod of up to 8 Social Media Strategists, driving performance for enterprise B2B clients. You will set goals, uphold best practices, and remove roadblocks while communicating clearly with clients and internal teams.

You bring 4+ years in performance marketing, 2+ years of people management, and deep expertise in LinkedIn/Meta advertising. This remote-first role offers strong compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency (B2B preferred).
• 2+ years people management experience.
• Deep expertise in paid social advertising on LinkedIn Ads & Meta.
• Understanding of LinkedIn/Meta ad units (conversation, documents, CTV, etc.).
• Proficiency with advertising platforms and tools listed above.
• Ability to delegate, de-escalate client issues, and plan actions.
• Strong paid principles knowledge including ICP research and bid management.
• Ability to analyze campaign data and optimize performance.
• Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
• Excellent storytelling and data translation for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead a pod of up to 8 Social Media Strategists and set team goals.
• Ensure clients follow best practices and our social advertising methodology.
• Identify and resolve roadblocks; drive action plans for success.
• Build accountability, structure, and clear communication within the team.
• Translate strategy into actionable client-facing insights and outcomes.
• Manage client relationships and achieve department KPIs.
