Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 12+ years in insurance accounting or related financial services experience.
• Experience leading suspense cleanup, reconciliation improvements, aging reduction, or exposure management.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead an operational accounting center of excellence driving consistent execution and governance.
• Ensure integrity and completeness of accounting and financial reporting information, with emphasis on cash activity and reconciliation quality.
• Drive monitoring of cash and suspense reconciliation open items, aging, exposure, and remediation progress.
• Identify operational gaps, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities from reconciliation results.
• Oversee development of financial reports and models for forecasting and analysis.
• Lead staff hiring, coaching, performance appraisals, and development.
