Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a Senior FP&A leader to oversee capital and regulatory reporting, consolidate forecasts, and drive management reporting with cross-functional partners across Finance, Actuarial, Risk, and Investments. This role partners with senior leaders to deliver accurate, actionable insights in a strong control environment.

Based in the United States with hybrid working arrangement (onsite part of the week), the ideal candidate has extensive accounting/finance leadership experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years accounting/finance experience including 8 years of management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Excel and financial systems such as ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A team responsible for capital and regulatory reporting and forecast coordination.
• Oversee preparation of capital-related reporting packages for senior management and governance committees.
• Provide technical expertise on capital and statutory reporting; act as SME and escalation point.
• Partner with business units to align reporting across the organization.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve reporting processes and systems.
• Analyze financial data, explain drivers, and support leadership decisions.
