Job summary

Transamerica's Financial Planning and Analysis team seeks a senior leader to drive capital and regulatory reporting, consolidated forecast and budget coordination, and management reporting. You will partner across Finance, the Chief Investment Office, and Capital Strategy to deliver accurate, well-controlled insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 12 years of accounting/finance experience including eight years of management experience.
• Advanced leadership and people-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.
• Experience with capital reporting and regulatory reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A team responsible for capital and regulatory reporting and forecasting coordination.
• Oversee preparation of capital-related reporting packages for senior management and governance committees.
• Serve as SME and escalation point for capital and regulatory reporting questions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Treasury, Tax, Investments, and other FP&A teams.
• Drive cross-functional process improvements, system implementations, and changes to reporting/forecasting processes.
• Interpret financial and capital data to explain drivers and forecast changes for leadership.
• Communicate complex messages to varied audiences at strategic and operational levels.
• Develop team talent through coaching, feedback, and succession planning.
• Ensure work is performed in a strong control environment; own key reporting/forecasting processes.
• Recommend and lead changes to improve quality, efficiency, and technology usage.
