Job summary

GSK seeks a Director to build and lead a high-performing MSL team, shaping plans aligned with GSK’s Medical Strategic Objectives and the Integrated Scientific Communication Plan. You will recruit, coach, and develop MSLs, drive performance, and ensure compliant, impactful engagement in oncology.

You will develop MSL strategies, oversee medical account plans and engagement across cross-functional teams, ensure medical insights are shared, and travel up to 50% as needed to lead in field settings.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams in Medical Affairs or field medical roles.
• Strong oncology knowledge and US healthcare environment familiarity.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with medical, clinical and commercial partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, oversee, coach, mentor MSLs to ensure engagement, performance and growth.
• Develop and align MSL strategies with medical objectives and plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize capabilities and outcomes.
• Ensure compliant, sound judgment in medical activities and field engagement.
