Job summary

GSK is seeking a Director to build and lead a high-performing Medical Science Liaison team. You will coach MSLs, ensure scientific depth, and align efforts with the Medical Strategic Objectives and Integrated Scientific Communication Plan.

You will collaborate with medical, clinical development, and commercial teams to drive insights, ensure compliance, and support oncology leadership in a field-based model across the United States.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, RN, or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including Medical Affairs or field medical leadership.
• Demonstrated success leading, coaching, or developing others in oncology or related therapeutic area.
• Strong understanding of oncology clinical landscapes and healthcare environments in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor MSLs to ensure engagement, performance, and growth with strong territory management.
• Develop and align MSL strategies with business goals and medical plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to inform capabilities and maximize outcomes.
• Represent MSL team in cross-functional meetings and ensure compliant working practices.
