Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Director of Epidemiology Pipeline (TA-Oncology) to lead scientific oversight of oncology trials, guiding study designs and regulatory alignment.

This remote US role collaborates with RWLP, business development, and operations to win opportunities, deliver high-quality studies, and advance translational science. Requires graduate epidemiology/public health training and SAS/R/Python skills.

Qualifications

• SME in Oncology Clinical Trials with deep knowledge of study designs and post-marketing/late phase contexts.
• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Masters preferred Doctorate.
• Ability to design, review and interpret epidemiologic studies and provide scientific oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific oversight of oncology trials and ensure timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Collaborate with RWLP management, BD, and operations to develop and win global opportunities.
• Develop and peer-review essential study documents: protocols, CRFs, SAPs, study reports.
• Lead scientific advisory boards and produce scientific reports, manuscripts and presentations.
• Train RWLP teams on epidemiologic designs and regulatory guidelines.
• Drive capacity building and process improvements for remote/central monitoring.
• Foster relationships with sponsors, thought-leaders, and investigators.
• Develop abstracts and lead authorship of articles in industry journals.
