Job summary

Macys is seeking a Director of Operations to direct day-to-day inbound and outbound operations and lead strategic planning with senior staff to meet facility and organizational goals.

You will drive KPIs, coach executives, and oversee safety, cost control, quality, and customer service. The role emphasizes profitability, productivity, and cultural leadership within the supply chain environment.

Qualifications

• Lead inbound and outbound operations to meet UPH, CPU, SOT, and fill rate goals.
• Provide coaching to executive team members and oversee staff development.
• Ensure safety, cost control, quality, processing efficiency, reliability, and customer service standards.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies to improve profitability, productivity, and efficiency across operations.
• Foster a work culture dedicated to superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Direct inbound and outbound operations to achieve targets (UPH, CPU, SOT, Fill Rate).
• Coach executive team members and oversee colleague development.
• Ensure safety, cost control, quality, and efficiency benchmarks are met.
• Lead strategic initiatives to boost profitability and productivity.
• Identify process improvements and optimize operations for better performance.
• Cultivate a superior customer service culture across teams.
• Establish procedures and metrics to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Plan staffing in line with volume projections and recruit accordingly.
• Train staff and ensure adherence to processes.
• Foster inclusive, respectful relationships with colleagues and customers.
