Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Warehouse Lead to drive daily department performance in our distribution center. You will monitor hour-by-hour activity, align staffing, and coach colleagues to improve processes.

This is a full-time role with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and achieving KPIs for merchandise movement, service levels, and productivity. You will coordinate onboarding, maintain a clean workplace, and communicate clearly with the Operations Manager to close performance gaps and ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Proficient with handheld devices and basic computer systems.
• Able to operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily meetings to discuss the business, priorities, and transition to next shift.
• Enlist colleagues to offer suggestions for process/culture improvements and champion their cause.
• Ensures colleagues are trained, cross-trained or certified in all operational areas and retrains as needed.
• Ensures KPIs related to merchandise movement, service levels, accuracy and productivity standards are achieved.
• Participates in onboarding processes for new hires and facility orientation.
• Maintains a clean and organized workplace and emphasizes personal safety for all colleagues.
• Communicates clearly and keeps others well informed with written and verbal updates.
• Provides guidance to daily operations to coordinate across areas and drive performance.
• Directs daily fulfillment center operations and supports staffing adjustments to close gaps.
• Recognizes and celebrates team performance and fosters a collaborative environment.
• Maintains hourly process boards to monitor performance and adjusts staffing accordingly.
