Qualifications

• Master's degree in library and information science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Minimum of six years of professional post-MLIS library experience, including at least two years of administrative supervision of full-time staff.
• Experience in one or more user-facing library services.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and administrative oversight for library user services, including information, reference and technology assistance, circulation, course reserves, resource sharing and patron delivery services.
• Oversee maintenance of tangible collections (print, microform, media) and special collections within Ottenheimer Library.
• Lead a team of approximately 10 FTE through recruitment, training, mentorship and development.
• Support strategic marketing and communications, fostering campus and community engagement.
• Collaborate with the Director of the Learning Commons to coordinate academic support services and experiential learning in the library and makerspace.
• Work with Collections and Academic Success teams to enhance discovery and assess collections; develop digital infrastructure.
