Job summary

Park University seeks a Director of Library Services to provide strategic leadership for all library functions across the Parkville campus and online programs serving six states. The role oversees the Norrington Center, Campanella Gallery, and archival records management, while advancing digital resources and innovative services.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership and collaboration skills.
• Experience with program evaluation, assessment, and accreditation practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the vision, strategic directions, and priorities for the Library and its services.
• Oversee development, delivery, and assessment of library services, resources, and programming to support student learning.
• Serve as project manager for library technology projects and liaison with vendors.
• Act as facility supervisor for the Norrington Center and other campus units to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to align library resources with curricular needs.
