Job summary

Taymar Sales U. in Omaha is seeking a Director of Ticket Operations to drive revenue through strategic ticket sales, group programs, and superior customer service for all Omaha athletics events at Baxter Arena.

You will oversee day-to-day ticket operations, manage box office functions, generate performance reports, and lead a team of ticket staff while building strong relationships with fans, donors and university collaborators.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sports ticket sales/operations
• Proven success in group ticket sales
• Knowledge of ticket sales processes and TicketMaster
• Experience in intercollegiate athletics or professional ticket sales
• Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management or related field
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Self-starter who can work independently and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Oversee all ticket operations strategy and execution for all ticketed events.
• Manage box office functions for athletic and non-athletic events at Baxter Arena.
• Exceed ticket sales revenue goals set by senior management.
• Engage Omaha fan base through outbound calls, emails, and meetings.
• Lead group sales, new season ticket sales and renewal campaigns.
• Supervise gameday staff and system builds/inventory management.
• Generate reports tracking ticketing revenue toward goals.
• Innovate initiatives to drive athletics revenue.
• Build relationships with fans, donors and university stakeholders.
• Maintain positive relationships to ensure a great event experience.
