Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Technical Marketing Director to shape how we communicate its AI-powered data security and management story to global audiences. You will bridge product innovation with real-world customer needs, drive adoption through technical storytelling and field enablement, and report to Marketing leadership.

You will lead a team to develop strategies and assets, deliver compelling demos, and translate complex tech into clear business messaging for IT leaders and executives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in technical marketing with a strong security focus.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure and/or GCP).
• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/Engineering/MIS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical marketing strategies and assets (demos, blogs, webinars, podcasts, events) to drive product adoption.
• Build demos and presentations to showcase Cohesity’s security and data platform capabilities to diverse audiences.
• Translate complex technical features into clear messaging for practitioners, IT leaders, and executives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing on go-to-market initiatives.
• Develop thought leadership through speaking engagements, analyst briefings, and industry presence.
• Align security strategies with Cohesity solutions to strengthen market positioning.
• Influence product direction with customer and field insights.
