Job summary

Duke Health in Durham, NC is seeking a Director of Talent Development and Organizational Development to lead a team and advance the strategy for talent development and organizational development across the health system.

Reporting to the AVP of Talent Development, you will design, implement, and oversee initiatives that build leadership capability, succession plans, and engagement while managing budgets and vendor relationships to ensure effective program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience expected.
• Master’s degree preferred for this leadership role.
• Professional HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and oversight of talent development and organizational development strategies.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify learning needs and leadership development solutions.
• Design and implement leadership programs, tools, and processes to build capability.
• Develop and oversee department budgets and vendor relationships.
• Monitor and assess program quality and impact and provide coaching.
