Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director of Space and Occupancy Planning to lead occupancy strategy, space layout options, and group relocation planning within a major client portfolio. You will coordinate with Move Managers, Project Managers and design teams to deliver efficient space solutions.

The role requires extensive experience in space planning, data management, and client relationship management, with a focus on optimizing asset utilization and cost efficiency across territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities or related field.
• 7–10 years of related experience in corporate space planning or CRE.
• Experience developing occupancy plans and headcount/seat supply forecasts.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and understand space utilization.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all facility space and personnel move requests to maximize space efficiency.
• Maintains relationships with client lines of business to capture requirements.
• Collaborates with CRE team on planning, strategies and project execution.
• Develops migration plans and sequencing for group relocations.
• Prepares final documents for client approval and keeps data in approved formats.
