Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Director of Space and Occupancy Planning in Austin to lead strategic space planning for client portfolios. You will oversee moves, develop occupancy plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet corporate CRE goals.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in space management, architectural drawing reviews, and strong client relationship skills, with a track record of delivering efficient, data-driven space solutions. This role is based on-site in Austin.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a corporate team environment.
• Experience developing site occupancy plans for short and long term scenarios.
• Experience communicating with all levels of management.
• Experience reviewing architectural and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all facility space and personnel move requests to maximize efficiency.
• Maintains relationships with client lines of business to understand requirements.
• Makes recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and asset utilization.
• Collaborates with Strategy, Project Management, Facility Management and CRE teams.
• Interfaces with Client to develop options and prepare final documents for approval.
• Oversees group moves and coordinates with Move Managers; presents solutions to client.
