Job summary

Flexential in the United States seeks a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead technical sales execution across regions, align with growth priorities, and drive consistent field practices.

You will build and empower a high-performing team, codify standards, optimize field processes, and partner with RVPs and sales leaders to turn strategy into territory plans and outstanding customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant technology, solution engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing architecture experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated success leading Solution Engineering teams across multiple markets or territories.
• Proven ability to prioritize resources and maintain consistent execution across multiple RVP territories.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical solutions to customer outcomes and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Solutions Engineers aligned to the charter.
• Implement operating standards within domains aligned with sales priorities.
• Own performance, pipeline quality, and technical sales effectiveness.
• Set regional priorities, workforce plans, and resource strategies.
• Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing Solutions Engineering team.
• Lead technical engagement for strategic regional accounts and escalations.
• Maintain portfolio expertise and deliver field enablement with company messaging.
