Job summary

Benjamin Rose in Cleveland seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee the Senior Companion Program. You will supervise volunteers, coordinate with community agencies, ensure compliance and quality, and manage budgets and funding to meet program goals.

Responsibilities include scheduling, performance evaluations, outreach collaboration with Marketing, grant proposal preparation, and producing reports for funders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in social work, business administration, or related field.
• Strong verbal, written, oral and electronic communication skills, including public speaking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with databases or program information systems.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with volunteers, staff, community partners, funders and other stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle information confidentially.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Experience in adult learning methods and training processes.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel regularly to program sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Senior Companion volunteers and coordinate assignments with community agencies.
• Supervise, support, and evaluate volunteers following funder requirements.
• Collaborate with committees and partners to improve service delivery.
• Conduct volunteer orientation and monthly in-service training.
• Develop and evaluate outreach strategies to increase program awareness.
• Assist in preparing grants, budgets, and funding requests.
• Prepare statistical and narrative reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure program records and stipend processing data are accurate.
