Job summary

Fairmount Park is seeking an experienced Casino Security Leader to supervise security operations in the absence of the Director of Public Safety and to manage the Security Shift Managers and below. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance, enforcing policies, and developing staff through training and coaching.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and able to obtain an Illinois Gaming Board license.
• 7–10 years of casino security experience; 5+ years in leadership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with flexible scheduling.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations in the absence of the Director of Public Safety.
• Supervise Security Shift Managers and below.
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies per regulations and company goals.
• Train and develop team members; coach and correct as needed.
• Review, investigate, and close incidents, medical, and surveillance reports.
• Administer the Electronic Key Control System.
• Support IGB Self-Exclusion program compliance.
• Assist in arrests or restraining individuals as required.
• Protect the integrity of gaming at the casino.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

From live racing tradition to modern entertainment, there's always something exciting happening at Fairmount Park is Casino & Racing!Job Description:Responsibilities:• Responsible for the overall security operations in the absence of the Director of Public Safety• Oversee all Security Shift Managers and below• Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals• Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action• Review, investigate, and implement corrective plans on all incident, medical, and surveillance reports to ensure departmental compliance with internal controls, policies, and all applicable regulations• Perform system administration to the Electronic Key Control System• Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB statewide voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as• Assist in arrests or physically restraining a resistant individual as needed• Support the overall integrity of gaming at the casino• Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:• Must be 21 years of age or older• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred• 7 to 10 years of Casino Security Experience• 5+ years of Casino Security/Casino leadership experience is required• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills• Must have the ability to interact with a variety of people• Must have flexible availability with scheduling, including shifts and days off• Must be able to adapt and thrive in a fluid, high-stress, and fast-paced environment• Must have outstanding organizational skills• Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously• Requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesPhysical Demands & Work Environment:• Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift• Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight• Requires manual dexterity to operate a keyboard• Must be able to read, speak, and correspond in the English language• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.Base Pay Range:Starting $100,000.00 - $110,000.00This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
