Job summary

Pearson's Director of School Operations leads operational excellence across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools, partnering with school leaders to strengthen effectiveness and ensure compliant, scalable delivery of education.

This senior role guides calendar cycles, staffing, enrollment readiness, and accountability across multiple sites, working with the School Success Partner and Academic Outcomes teams to drive student success and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years proven leadership experience as a Principal or equivalent.
• Advanced degree in Education or Management is required.
• Virtual school leadership experience required.
• Flexible, tech-savvy and strong communication with a data-driven approach.
• Ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio-level school operations and governance.
• Directly coach multiple school leaders across a portfolio of schools.
• Ensure regulatory and charter/SOA compliance at scale.
• Align operational systems with Pearson values and strategy.
• Support enrollment growth through readiness and staffing.
• Partner with SSP and Academic Outcomes teams for improvement initiatives.
