Job summary

Pearson seeks a Director of School Operations to lead operational excellence across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools. You will partner with school leaders to strengthen leadership teams through hands-on coaching and scalable processes.

The role requires leading leaders, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enabling enrollment growth while safeguarding student experience. Collaboration with SSP and academic-improvement initiatives is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven leadership as a Principal or equivalent.
• Advanced degree in Education or Management is required.
• Virtual school leadership experience is required.
• Flexible, tech-savvy, and able to travel frequently.
• Strong communications skills and data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational execution across multiple Connections Academy schools.
• Directly coach and develop multiple school leaders and leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance, efficiency, and sustainability at scale.
• Support enrollment growth through operational readiness.
• Partner with School Success Partner to align account strategy and execution.
• Oversee calendar, policies, and school year cycle activities.
• Drive leadership development, succession planning, and hiring.
• Coordinate with boards, authorizers, and external partners.
