Job summary

Trimark Associates, Inc. is seeking a Director of SCADA Engineering to lead a 15–20 person team responsible for SCADA systems integration across utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects.

The role collaborates with Project Management, Design, IT/OT, and Field teams to deliver high-performance control solutions. The successful candidate will supervise cross-functional teams, define SCADA improvements with the CTO, and coordinate system delivery with production services to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 10+ years in SCADA or systems integration in utility/renewable energy
• Minimum 7+ years of supervisory experience leading groups of 15+ employees in power systems
• Expert understanding of SCADA and control system testing/acceptance documentation
• Experience with PV solar and/or BESS architectures and utility interconnection requirements
• Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition Vision & Perspective and SEL RTAC
• Experience with ISO and utilities is desirable

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the SCADA strategy for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects with Engineering leadership
• Mentor and grow a team of managers and engineers in SCADA, automation, and integration
• Set and track department goals and KPIs aligned with Trimark objectives
• Assess team skills; design training plans to maximize growth
• Provide leadership to ensure SCADA best practices and Trimark standards
