Job summary

DESRI is seeking a Manager to lead SCADA design, integration, and implementation across its portfolio of solar, battery energy storage, and hybrid projects.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Development, Construction, Operations, IT, and EPC partners to ensure secure, reliable SCADA and controls systems, supporting safe and efficient project operation. Occasional site travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• Minimum five years in SCADA, controls, or power systems integration.
• Experience with utility-scale BESS, EMS, BMS, PCS, and plant controllers.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA architectures, protocols, data management, testing/commissioning.
• Familiarity with NERC/CIP, cybersecurity, and telemetry requirements is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support SCADA and controls integration for utility-scale battery storage projects.
• Conduct detailed SCADA design reviews and define technical specifications.
• Support EPC scoping and vendor selection for controls and monitoring.
• Develop integration strategies with EMS, plant controllers, and central platform.
• Create alarms, data mapping, and tagging conventions; verify interfaces and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with EPCs during FAT and site commissioning; troubleshoot issues.
