SpringHill Suites Phoenix Gilbert is a brand-new, all-suite hotel opening in SanTan Village. We seek a Director of Sales to sustain momentum, own the sales narrative, and build a strong book of business as the property ramps to stabilized performance.

The Director will drive top-line revenue through strategic account development across corporate, group, extended-stay, sports and leisure segments, partnering with the GM and revenue management to meet and exceed budget.

Competenze

• 5+ years of sales experience in hospitality, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Familiarity with Phoenix East Valley market (Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe).
• Marriott brand and systems experience (Fosse, MiNT, Marriott RFP process) preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

• Ramp-Up Execution: Sustain and accelerate opening momentum and grow the account base.
• Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies to maximize revenue and market share across segments.
• Proactive Prospecting: Maintain high-volume outbound activity across Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa and East Valley.
• Client Relationship Management: Build relationships with local corporate accounts, group planners, travel partners, and stakeholders.
• Market Analysis: Research market trends to identify new opportunities and track share movement.
• Revenue Management: Collaborate with revenue team to optimize pricing and inventory; participate in strategy meetings.
• Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on production, pipeline and conversions.
• Brand & System Compliance: Manage Marriott systems, RFPs, and brand standards.
• Event Coordination: Plan and execute group blocks and local promotions.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget and marketing spend.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor on-property sales staff and partner with front office for seamless guest experience.
