Job summary

Generation Hospitality Gilbert is seeking a Director of Sales for SpringHill Suites Phoenix Gilbert to drive top-line revenue through strategic account development and proactive prospecting. You will own the sales strategy end-to-end across corporate, group, and leisure segments, partnering with GM, revenue management and the corporate sales team.

You will lead a ramp-up sales effort, build a robust book of business, and ensure brand and system compliance while coordinating with local partners

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Familiarity with the Phoenix East Valley market (Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe) is advantageous.
• Marriott brand and systems experience (Fosse, MiNT, Marriott RFP process) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ramp-Up Execution: Sustain and accelerate opening momentum and grow the account base.
• Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
• Proactive Prospecting: Maintain high-volume outbound outreach across Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa and East Valley.
• Client Relationship Management: Build relationships with local corporate accounts, planners, and partners.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and track demand trends.
• Revenue Management: Collaborate on pricing, mix and inventory strategy with Revenue team.
• Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on production, pipeline, and performance.
• Brand & System Compliance: Manage Marriott sales systems and standards.
