Job summary

TEGNA Inc. in Spokane is seeking a Director of Sales to lead a high-performing revenue team across linear, streaming and digital platforms.

You will drive strategy, grow market share, develop top talent, and deliver integrated advertising solutions for local businesses. The role reports to the President & General Manager and requires a proven track record in multi-platform TV sales leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex accounts and timelines in a fast-paced media

Qualifications

10+ years of TV sales experience with 3-5 year(s) in broadcast TV sales leadership.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue goals and leading high-performing sales teams.
Strong understanding of multiplatform advertising solutions including broadcast, digital, OTT, CTV, and streaming products.
Knowledge of political advertising sales cycles and revenue strategy.

Responsibilities

Build and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue goals across linear, digital, streaming, and emerging platforms.
Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing sales leadership team.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
Lead pricing, inventory management, forecasting, and revenue pacing strategies.
Partner with leadership to deliver integrated client solutions.
