Our client specializes in moving temperature-controlled freight and other protected cargoes for customers throughout the continental United States and is seeking a highly motivated, achievement-driven Director of Sales and Marketing. Reporting directly to the COO, this position will maintain existing clients and develop new client relationships. This is a remote, customer-facing position that will lead the Sales and Marketing strategy for Cold Carriers.

Outline of Responsibilities

1. Maintain client relationships
2. Increase and develop new client base
3. Respond to client concerns
4. Maximize revenue, rates, and utilization while reducing costs
5. Regular review of client agreements
6. RFP and Bids through web tools

Qualifications

1. Minimum 5 years Transportation Sales experience
2. Temperature-controlled freight experience is a plus
3. 5 years of experience in a customer-facing environment
4. Proficiency with web-based bid management systems: DAT, truckloadrate.com, LeanSource, SciQuest, Bravo, Manhattan, Mercury Gate
5. Some travel required every month
