Job summary

A-Gas, based in Bowling Green, Ohio, seeks a Director of Sales to lead our Fire Protection and Performance Chemicals units. This role oversees gas acquisition, customer growth, and strategic direction for both business units.

The successful candidate will partner with partners and new customers to drive revenue and long-term relationships. Responsibilities include delivering KPIs, developing growth plans, forecasting, and leading a high-performing sales team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 5+ years relevant industry experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with the circular economy is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KPI for assigned market segment.
• Develop strategic sales and growth plans to meet corporate goals.
• Prepare and report sales forecasts and budgets.
• Hire, onboard, train and retain sales staff.
• Develop target customer lists and drive business development.
• Negotiate pricing agreements and contracts; maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and Customer Service.
