This working leadership role requires hands-on presence on docks and in plants, driving down injuries and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in safety/risk management, 3+ years in multi-site leadership, and a Bachelor’s in a related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in safety/occupational health, with 3+ years in multi-site leadership.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing safety and DOT/FMCSA compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• Working knowledge of OSHA general industry standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead the safety program end-to-end across all plants and fleets.
• Develop annual safety plan with defined objectives and measures.
• Establish plant-level safety committees and drive corrective actions.
• Perform recurring safety audits and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and hazard-control programs across facilities.
• Coordinate with Transportation on DOT/FMCSA compliance and audits.
• Lead safety training curriculum and foster a proactive safety culture.
• Support audits and integration of new sites acquisitions.
