Job summary

Healthcare Linen Services Group (HLSG) is seeking a Director of Safety to lead the companywide safety program across multiple plants and brands. You will own written programs, standards, and expectations, and drive consistent application with executive visibility.

The role requires 8+ years in safety/risk management, with strong OSHA and FMCSA knowledge, and a track record of improving safety metrics in a multi-site operation. Base salary is competitive with a 20% incentive opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Transportation, Business, or related field.
• Experience managing regulatory inspections and agency interaction.
• Experience with workers’ compensation claims management and loss analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the Company safety program end-to-end across all plants, brands, and fleet operations.
• Build and maintain the annual safety plan with objectives and measures; report progress to executives.
• Establish plant-level safety committees and ensure remediation of findings.
• Conduct recurring safety audits and inspections with a standard scorecard and verify corrective actions.
