Job summary

1 Hotels seeks a Director of Rooms to lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Reservations and related guest-facing departments. This role ensures a luxury guest experience from arrival to departure, drives financial performance, and maintains brand standards while developing high-performing teams aligned with our sustainability-driven mission.

The position requires 5+ years in Rooms leadership, a hospitality degree, strong financial acumen, and excellent guest engagement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience within a Rooms Division, including Department Head roles.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and guest engagement skills.
• Strategic thinker with planning and execution skills; luxury service focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of all Rooms Division departments, ensuring luxury service.
• Lead and embed service excellence initiatives to improve guest satisfaction and reputation.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for the Rooms Division.
• Develop and manage annual Rooms budget, and collaborate on long-term strategic plans.
• Lead talent planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, and development.
• Drive guest recovery, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration.
