Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Director of Rooms responsible for front desk, housekeeping, and guest services. You will maximize room revenue through daily status rates analysis, coordinate major projects, and lead subordinate managers including MOD participation.

Qualifications

• 6 years or more of progressive hotel Rooms experience (typically with Hyatt).
• Experience supervising all Rooms Departments.
• Experience developing standards and operating procedures.
• With opening hotels, pre-opening experience preferred.
• Clear concise written and verbal communication in English.
• Proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for short and long term planning and the management of the Rooms operations in the front and heart of the house.
• Develop and recommend the budget, marketing plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans.
• Hires, manages & trains subordinate managers & employees.
• Coordinate major projects such as renovations and capital expenditures.
• Conduct weekly Rooms Divisions meetings and monthly financial reviews.
• Monitor labor expenses through schedule approvals and forecasting.
