SharkNinja in Needham, MA is seeking a Manager, Engineering — Robotics to lead a multidisciplinary team across mechanical, electrical, firmware and systems engineering. You’ll own the robotic system design from concept to mass production and collaborate with our UK and China teams to move ideas to production.

You will hire, mentor, and develop top engineers while continually improving designs for cost, manufacturability, quality, and value. On-site role in Needham, MA.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product development, robotics, or related field.
• Track record shipping robust robotics solutions and leading projects.
• Experience in consumer products or consumer robotics.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering, physics.
• Hands-on electronics, test equipment, and robotics components.
• Excellent CAD skills.
• BS/MS/BA in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar).
• Strong plus: embedded firmware or robotics software stacks.

Responsibilities

• Own robotic system design across mechanical, electrical, and embedded controls—from concept to mass production.
• Integrate sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs), actuators, motors, batteries, and embedded electronics into a single machine.
• Hire, develop, and mentor a team of engineers to meet goals.
• Improve designs for cost, manufacturability, quality, reliability and value.
• Collaborate with UK/China product teams and leadership to move ideas to production.
