Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, MT is seeking a Director of Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Lab to lead 24-hour RT and Sleep Lab operations. You will coordinate staffing, schedule coverage, review policies and procedures, and ensure high quality clinical services for patients with respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, coordinating clinical and technical services, and providing direct patient care as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a Montana-licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certified.
• Experience leading RT and sleep lab teams is preferred.

About the role

The Director of Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Lab assumes 24-hour responsibility for RT and Sleep Lab department operations, including coordinating staffing, scheduling, policy and procedure reviews, and will oversee daily clinical operations, coordinate clinical and technical services provided and provide direct patient care consistent with the schedule demands. The Director also has responsibility as needed to, upon the request of the provider, set up and operates various types of respiratory equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases and/or illness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Graduate from a Respiratory Therapist Program which has been accredited by the Joint Review Committed for Respiratory Care Education or the National Board of Respiratory Therapy.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Montana.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP

Salary is commensurate with up to 15 years of experience.
