Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, MT seeks a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for the Sleep Lab, full-time. The role administers polysomnographies and related procedures to monitor, study, and analyze patients' sleep patterns under supervision of Sleep Lab leadership.

Required qualifications include an AAS in Respiratory Therapy, CRT with NBRC, and obtaining RRT within 3 months; RPSGT preferred with 1-year goal. BLS within 6 months; sleep lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RPSGT credential verifiable; preferred but not required; must obtain within 1 year.

About the role

$30,000 Discretionary Sign-On Bonus

Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Sleep Lab Medical Director/Sleep Medicine Physician, and Sleep Lab Coordinator, and in accordance with an order from a physician, administer polysomnographies and related procedures to monitor, study, and analyze patients' sleep patterns.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapy Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
• New grad Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential verifiable with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); must obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within 3 months of hire.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential verifiable with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) and/or the NBRC is preferable; must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Experience in a sleep lab preferable.
• BLS certification within six months of hire.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and solution oriented during periods of high stress and/or workload fluctuations.
