Moravian Manor Communities in Lititz, PA seeks a Director of Resident Services to lead Dining Services, resident engagement, activities, wellness, and community-life initiatives across all levels of care. You will unite departments and people to create meaningful, person-centered experiences that promote connection, purpose, wellness, and quality of life for residents and families in a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, resident engagement, dining services, or related setting.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing budgets, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
• Experience developing and coordinating programs, events, or community-wide initiatives.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, team members, volunteers, and community partners.
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and related department software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, social work, human services, hospitality, therapeutic recreation, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a campus-wide resident enrichment strategy across all levels of care.
• Provide leadership and oversight for Dining Services, partnering with dining leadership to promote resident satisfaction, hospitality, and person-centered service.
• Lead and support the community life team in creating engaging programs, outings, events, volunteer opportunities, and individualized experiences.
• Partner with Social Services, Marketing, and other departments to strengthen the overall resident experience.
• Gather resident feedback and use engagement data to continually enhance programs and services.
• Serve as a liaison to resident councils, associations, committees, community partners, and vendors.
• Oversee wellness programming and support community-wide, family, and marketing events.
• Hire, train, coach, supervise, and support team members.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, purchasing, expenses, and vendor relationships.
• Promote safe, inclusive, person-centered services aligned with resident rights, organizational policies, and applicable regulations.

We’re looking for a leader who brings:

• Experience managing budgets, purchasing, financial resources, and vendor relationships.
• Experience developing and coordinating programs, events, or community-wide initiatives.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, team members, volunteers, and community partners.
