AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Director of Prospect Development to architect and lead a strategic donor identification and portfolio management function. The role focuses on advanced research, capacity modeling, and executive-level BI to drive principal gift revenue.

You will guide a team, develop metrics, and partner with senior leadership to shape the philanthropy program across California, delivering measurable impact and scalable growth for the Foundation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in fundraising or advancement services.
• At least 5 years supervising professional teams and directing enterprise initiatives.
• Mastery of APRA Body of Knowledge Level II; CMIA regulatory experience preferred.
• Experience with prospect research platforms (iWave, LexisNexis, WealthEngine) and CRM systems (Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce).
• Proven skills in data analysis, statistics, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and direct a comprehensive prospect development ecosystem.
• Lead data-driven philanthropic strategy to optimize donor identification and portfolio distribution.
• Develop metrics, goals, projections, and capacity assessments for prospects.
• Serve as strategic advisor to executive leadership and drive department evolution.
• Collaborate to scale and direct an integrated prospect development function.
