Asplundh Brush Control, LLC seeks a Director of Projects to oversee the portfolio of construction projects from business development through closeout. The role requires strategic leadership, client relationship management, bidding oversight, and strong financial control across multiple projects.

The position emphasizes cross-functional team leadership, risk management, and process improvements to drive profitable growth for utility-related power and pipeline projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple construction projects in the power or pipeline industries.
• Strong bidding and preconstruction oversight with accurate cost estimates.
• Ability to develop client relationships and manage proposals through closeouts.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Business Development: lead strategies for new work and allocate resources for PM and estimating teams.
• Client & Stakeholder Relations: serve as primary contact for key clients and discuss proposals, progress, and timelines.
• Bidding & Preconstruction Oversight: oversee bids, ensure compliance, and approve project proposals.
• Project Controls & Financial Management: manage pricing, costs, margins, and billing across the portfolio.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: guide project managers and estimators, oversee schedules, and foster collaboration.
• Risk Management & Compliance: assess risks and ensure permits and safety compliance.
• Process Improvement: analyze metrics to identify cost savings and efficiency gains.
