Job summary

Asplundh Brush Control, LLC is seeking a strategic Director of Projects to oversee the entire portfolio of construction projects from initial business development and estimation through financial closeout. This remote role involves coordinating with customer meetings and site visits as required.

The position reports to the General Manager and requires experience in business development, estimating, project management or construction in the power or pipeline industry, with a focus on leadership

Qualifications

Experience leading business development, estimating, project management or construction in the power or pipeline industry.
Oversee portfolio of construction projects from initial business development and estimation through financial closeout.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Development: Develop and implement strategies for new work generation and client acquisition.
Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as a primary contact for key client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction.
Bidding & Preconstruction Oversight: Provide leadership to the estimating department for cost estimates and bid packages.
Project Controls & Financial Management: Responsibility for project financials, pricing, costs, margins and budget creation.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead project managers, estimators, and field engineers; manage schedules and performance.
Risk Management & Compliance: Evaluate risks and ensure permits and regulatory compliance.
Process Improvement: Analyze metrics for business acquisition, profitability and billing.
