Job summary

California Long-Term Care Education Center (CLTCEC) is seeking a Director of Programs to lead the planning, development, and oversight of home care training programs. This role integrates strategic leadership with hands-on program administration to meet current and future workforce needs in long-term care.

The position requires building curriculum with experts, managing budgets, supervising staff, and coordinating with partners and funders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in program management or related field; master’s preferred.
• Four years experience developing program structure and delivery of instruction, recruitment, home care or adult education.
• Five years of experience managing programs, with at least four years in a supervisory capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to foster a cooperative atmosphere in a diverse community.

Responsibilities

• Develop statewide strategies to deliver training programs for home care workers.
• Plan delivery of the overall program and activities to meet organizational goals.
• Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives for program success.
• Oversee budget and operating plan to support programs and monitor spending.
• Direct instructional design and processes with committees and stakeholders.
• Write reports on programs for management, funders, and stakeholders.
• Lead field team and drive outreach to improve enrollment and retention.
