Cboe Global Markets seeks a Director of Production Operations to own the reliability, release, and control of the BIDS trading platform across North America, Europe, and beyond. You’ll lead a senior team across SRE and DB administration, guiding hybrid environments that mix on-premises activity with growing AWS workloads.

You will oversee production deployments, incident response, and the regulatory control framework while modernizing operations and ensuring availability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Linux/UNIX administration and shell scripting.
• Enterprise RDBMS operations, Oracle preferred.
• SQL proficiency for data manipulation and queries.
• Production incident management and post-incident review.
• AWS infrastructure and services in production contexts.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Monitoring and log analytics with Splunk or Grafana.
• JVM platforms, runtime and GC tuning.
• Operating a hybrid on-premises and cloud environment.
• Secrets management with Vault or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Lead production release and change management across NA and Europe production environments.
• Own operational and regulatory control framework with calendars for audits, access, capacity, etc.
• Lead and develop the production operations team spanning SRE and DB administration.
• Operate and evolve a hybrid production environment (on-premises and AWS).
• Direct the technical response to production incidents including post-incident reviews.
• Own resilience and disaster recovery; plan quarterly/annual tests and runbooks.
• Keep the platform current with upgrade programs across runtime, database, and infrastructure.
