Reactive Markets is seeking an Operations Engineer to ensure the stability, performance, and availability of our trading platform. This hands‑on role focuses on production systems, infrastructure, and trading workflows rather than client relationship management.

You will work with engineering, product, and internal stakeholders as the first line of defense for live trading systems, owning incident response, configuration delivery, onboarding execution, and continuous improvement through

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in operations or production support within trading or FinTech.
• Working knowledge of the FIX protocol, ideally in FX or electronic trading environments.
• Understanding of trading infrastructure, networking, and low‑latency connectivity.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools in live production environments.
• Linux fundamentals
• Comfortable with configuration‑as‑code – Git, YAML, and safe change management.
• Scripting and automation (Bash, Python) to investigate, automate, and reduce toil.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live trading systems across regions and asset classes; be the eyes on the platform during sessions.
• Own Level 1 and Level 2 incident response: triage, runbooks, investigation and escalation when needed.
• Deliver the production‑change pipeline for onboarding clients, liquidity providers, and capabilities.
• Document configurations, onboarding steps, and troubleshooting; contribute to automation and tooling.
