Job summary

Early Warning Services, LLC is seeking a Director of Site Reliability Engineering to own reliability, scalability, and operability for critical production services. You will translate business priorities into measurable reliability outcomes and lead domain reliability strategy with Product, Software, Platform, Infrastructure, Security and Risk teams.

You will stay hands-on to develop code, contribute to automation, and mentor engineers while driving SRE practices, observability, incident

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (implied).
12+ years of software/SRE/production engineering experience with leadership.
5+ years leading engineering teams and developing managers or senior leaders.
Strong understanding of SRE practices: SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, observability, incident management, capacity, resilience.

Responsibilities

Lead the SRE function for assigned domain with accountability for reliability and operability.
Translate business priorities into measurable reliability outcomes.
Develop talent and set domain reliability strategy and priorities.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Platform and Security teams to drive outcomes.
Provide hands-on technical depth to contribute when appropriate.
Establish SLIs/SLOs and drive observability and incident response maturity.
