Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Industrial Security Director / Head of Product Security to lead our security organization supporting high-performance silicones for Aerospace & Defense. Based in Carpinteria, CA, this role reports to the executive leadership team and drives programs across personnel, facilities, and classified information.

Ideal candidates hold a U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor’s or graduate degree with extensive industrial security experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have an active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Detailed working knowledge of NISPOM / 32 CFR Part 117, NIST SP 800-53/171, DFARS.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee industrial security programs aligning with government requirements.
• Advise executive leadership on security risks and compliance.
• Lead security team and mentor personnel.
• Coordinate investigations and liaise with federal agencies as needed.
• Develop and maintain security training and education programs.
