STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Director of Preconstruction in Denver, CO to own and manage core preconstruction functions. You will lead a team, develop conceptual budgets and schedules, perform cost analysis, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficient, low-risk project delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in preconstruction, a relevant degree, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in construction, business or technical discipline OR commensurate work experience.
• 10+ years of prior experience in Preconstruction.
• Significant experience leading multiple projects simultaneously through the preconstruction phase.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small Preconstruction team of analysts and managers.
• Collaborate with project teams to evaluate data center development projects in preconstruction.
• Create and maintain conceptual budgets and schedules from schematic or feasibility documents.
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to identify savings and improve efficiency.
• Maintain budgets and develop variance summaries between estimates as design evolves.
• Analyze construction documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Develop project strategies, manage risks, and support project teams.
